Overview

The role of business continuity management is to address and resolve risks to which the University may be exposed and which may affect the achievement of its objectives. The role of management follows the identification of risks by technical risk management, as well as risks that may appear indirect, ineffective and irrelevant and that may accumulate and interact with events and factors that may cause damage to the continuity of work at the University. 
Business continuity management functions can be summarized as follows: 

  1. Prepare business continuity management plans and standards in accordance with the Kingdom ' s Vision 2030 and in line with the University ' s strategic plans, e-learning column and digital transformation. 
  2. Follow-up and evaluation of the methods relied upon for risk management and business continuity while ensuring effective controls or resources for incident and crisis management. 
  3. To establish business continuity management plans for all relevant units at UNU while contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives. 
  4. Awareness-raising and training on business continuity and crisis and disaster management. 
  5. Review and follow-up of procedures and tests for the prevention of accidents and disasters in all matters relating to the provision of services at the University.
